Isa's Approach to Supervision

• My supervision model is an extension of my approach to therapy. Taking an integrative approach, I draw from a variety of modalities and theoretical perspectives including: Humanistic, Youngian, Existential, Art, Somatic and Parts Work.

• My goal as a Supervisor is to:

  • provide each supervisee with individualized clinical and professional development

  • facilitate and build their self-awareness and cultural competence.

  • increase and strengthen skill acquisition and continual improvement strategies

  • protect the welfare of each client by ensuring that they receive high-quality services

  • provide the emotional support to supervisees to lessen stress, burnout and problems

• Competencies Expectations:
  Supervision occurs in a systemic, multicultural sensitive, competency-based framework.
  
  I co-collaborate with the Supervisee/Associate in the assessment of clinical and professional competencies (knowledge, skills, and values/attitudes).  Assessments are based on observation and report of clinical work, supervision, and competency instruments.

Benefits of Working with the THTC Team

• Supervisee/Associate Compensation:

  • $40 - $70 per client contact hour (varies by caseload)

  • Extra Supervisee/Associate Compensation:

    • Supervision Attendance 1/week  – $25.00/unit

    • Administrative Responsibilities – $25.00/5 contact hours

    • Accrued Vacation Pay - one hour for every 40 client hours

    • THTC offers a Human Interest 401K to all employees with a company match of up to 6%
